7:30 PM - 8:45 PM	Field Hockey for Girls - Field hockey for girls Grades 1-8 Coach Bordieri, who led the Varsity team that won the 2018 Hockomock League championship as well as the 2016 Varsity team to a Hockomock League Championship and the 2016 State South Sectional championship will be teaching the sport of field hockey to newcomers, as well as returning players. Instruction will be offered in fundamentals of the game: dribbling, passing, driving, and shooting with small game play in which to apply those skills. This clinic is a great opportunity both to learn about the game and for returning players to continue to develop their game play and skills. Instruction will be offered in fundamentals of the game: dribbling, passing, driving, and shooting with scrimmage games in which to apply those skills. This clinic is a great opportunity both to learn about the game and for 8th graders to prepare for try-outs and competitive play at the high school level. Each player must have a mouth guard, shin guards, cleats and a stick.This program will meet once a week for 6 weeks...: Beginning MayDates: TBD   All will be held at the Sam Burns Turf Field at Foxboro High SchoolThe Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel programs which do not support themselves. If a class must be cancelled due to weather, instructor illness, facility issues, etc., the Department will make every effort to contact participants. No classes are held when the Foxboro Public Schools have been cancelled due to weather conditions. If a class is cancelled, you will be notifiedregarding a make up class.Refund PolicyThe Recreation Department has a NO REFUND policy unless the program is cancelled or there arespecial circumstances. In most cases, credits are given and do not expire.
