Michelle Gardner is a certified yoga teacher (CYT200, Chromatic Guide, at Chromatic School of Yoga). Having experienced how the thousands-of-years-old practice of yoga is helping her live an active and joyful life in her 50s, she was motivated to complete the 200-hour Yoga Teacher training program and is now excited to share and help others live mindfully and feel strong in their bodies.Experience the benefits of yoga through mindful breath connected to movement. This class is for those new or experienced with yoga and will focus on building strength and flexibility in both our bodies and minds. We will move through sequences in a Vinyasa flow style designed to energize and improve movement. Some postures will be held for a few breaths to help improve strength and balance. Quiet your mind, refresh your body, and relieve stress with this class with this class led by Diane Lancaster, who has more than 20 years of experience in fitness instruction. Regardless of your physical condition or abilities, learn to increase strength and flexibility through positions, breath work, and mediation.If you would like to just drop in to a class it is $12 per class.Class size is limited. Please bring your yoga mat and water.The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel programs which do not support themselves. If a class must be cancelled due to weather, instructor illness, facility issues, etc., the Department will make every effort to contact participants. No classes are held when the Foxboro Public Schools have been cancelled due to weather conditions. Learn to KnitJoin us for a fun and relaxing introduction to knitting! This one-hour class is perfect for beginners who have always wanted to learn how to knit but didn’t know where to start. Over the course of the session, you’ll learn the basics of knitting, including: Casting On: The essential first step to begin your knitting project. The Knit Stitch: The foundation of many knitting projects and patterns. Casting Off: Finishing your work so it doesn’t unravel. If you’re feeling confident, we can also explore the purl stitch, which opens up even more possibilities for your knitting journey!At the end of the class, you’ll have the skills to start creating your very own knitted item.
