Pickleball - Pickleball Intermediate AM
We are offering lessons from complete beginner to advanced players, as well as those looking to compete in tourneys. Skill based teaching with students learning racket techniques, grips, paddle technology, ball technology from indoor to outdoor, strategy, positioning, singles strategy, doubles strategy, rules with all fundamentals. Beginner: These classes are a great way for brand new players to learn the sport of Pickleball. Players will learn all the basics to be able to play. We will cover equipment, unique lingo, score keeping, court position, and the fundamentals of serve, return, and the volley.Intermediate: Demonstrates a broad knowledge of the rules of the game. Gets high majority of serves “in” Able to serve and return serve deep. Hits to the weak side of opponent often. Demonstrates more strategies of playing during games.Paddles will be provided.The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel programs which do not support themselves. If a class must be cancelled due to weather, instructor illness, facility issues, etc., the Department will make every effort to contact participants. No classes are held when the Foxboro Public Schools have been cancelled due to weather conditions.
