Priscilla Yellowhead Tobey is a Potawatomi/Ojibway native who shares her passions as an artist, avid storyteller and her love of writing poetry. She has taught workshops on how to make native crafts, produced cultural programs and written plays about her heritage. She has shared her stories in schools, nursing homes, powwows and other places in the U.S., Canada and Europe.




 “The medicine bag is character building workshop. Everyone will learn how we can be guided and live using the characteristics of the seven important animals in the Native American culture. Each person will walk away with a medicine bag holding the 7 animal through their hair and fur.  4 sacred medicines will also be given with a teaching for all of them.”

The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel programs which do not support themselves. If a class must be cancelled due to weather, instructor illness, facility issues, etc., the Department will make every effort to contact participants. No classes are held when the Foxboro Public Schools have been cancelled due to weather conditions. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified
regarding a make up class.

Refund Policy
The Recreation Department has a NO REFUND policy unless the program is cancelled or there are
special circumstances. In most cases, credits are given and do not expire.
