Beginner Acoustic and Electric Guitar Classes

 
Join Stu for an introduction to music through guitars.
This is a 5 week series
Acoustic Thursdays Sept. 22, 2022- Oct 20, 2022 at 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Electric Fridays Sept 23, 2022-Oct 21, 2022 at 7:00pm to 8:00pm




  • Learn how to properly tune your guitar with a clip on tuner.


  • Learn to play 8 different chords which can be used to play songs.


  • Learn the pentatonic scale for soloing to your favorite music.




 
What you will need:




  • Acoustic players: Acoustic guitar with strings, a clip on style tuner (not a phone tuner) and a music stand.


  • Electric players: Electric guitar with strings, guitar cable, clip on style tuner (not a phone tuner), a practice style AMP with extension chord and a music stand.




 
Cost: $190.00 for the 5 week session

The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel programs which do not support themselves. If a class must be cancelled due to weather, instructor illness, facility issues, etc., the Department will make every effort to contact participants. No classes are held when the Foxboro Public Schools have been cancelled due to weather conditions. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified
regarding a make up class.

Refund Policy
The Recreation Department has a NO REFUND policy unless the program is cancelled or there are
special circumstances. In most cases, credits are given and do not expire.
